According to the Green Congress of Kenya Party Leader Hillary Alila, this is an important phase of the electoral cycle and Kenyans who subscribe to the ideologies of good governance and environmental friendly policies to join the party and get counted when the transformation and creation of a better country is achieved.

Alila, who is the leader of the visionary GCK, a party grounded of principles of good governance and empowerment through environmental friendly policies and practices rallied Kenyans of all walks of life to enlist as members of GCK noting that the party is a home to all Kenyans.

“The Green Congress of Kenya (GCK) is not waiting for 2027, we are building the future right now in every village, every ward, every county and indeed the whole country. It is for this reason that I call on all Kenyans, from all walks of life to join us in GCK and be counted as those who took part in the transformation of our beloved motherland, Kenya,” Alila notes.

The GCK Party, Alila explains, is a political party which represents all Kenyans who believe that Kenya deserves to be a country whose citizens have access to clean air and water, her youths have jobs from green energy and agriculture, the leaders put the planet and the people who they lead first and the country has a real alternative to the same old politics.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission announced the official timelines for party primaries, candidate nominations and campaigns ahead of the 2027 General Election, with political parties now required to submit membership lists and primary schedules by March 16, 2027

Alila asserted that the GCK party based on tribal following, regional strongholds or a few elites but is a party which seeks to provide leadership to all Kenyans, regardless of their backgrounds and include the population in the development of the country as a whole.

“We are the GREEN CONGRESS OF KENYA — a truly national party, rooted in democracy, built on the will of the people, and driven by one purpose, to offer a better leadership for all Kenyans. From Mombasa to Turkana. From Kisumu to Garissa. From Nairobi to Kitui — every Kenyan has a home in the Green Congress,” Alila says.

“Kenya deserves leaders who are accountable, visionary, and chosen freely by the people. That is exactly what Green Congress stands for. Join us. Compete. Lead. Serve. Green Congress looks at growing Kenya to a better future,” Alila concluded.
