JKIA to Close International Arrivals Terminal

The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, October 10.

Kenya Airports Authority has notified passengers that Terminal 1E is used for international arrivals will be closed.

The notice indicates that closure will be effected at 7 am to facilitate essential rehabilitation works.

“During this period, all affected airlines will be processed through Terminal 1A. This decision has been made in order to ensure the safety of our staff and passengers during the renovation process,” KAA said.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time,” the notice dispatched by the corporate communication reads.
