Kampala, Uganda – A heart-wrenching video circulating online shows the daughter(identified to
be Vallery Wangui Njoroge) of a once-prominent UDA activist James Njoroge Ndung’u, in tears from what appears to be a bustling street in Uganda, pleading for her father to return. Her desperate cry for help comes amidst swirling rumors about her father’s whereabouts and a seismic shift in the political landscape of Mt. Kenya.

Vallery Wangui Njoroge is the sister of Virtuous Waithera Njoroge, whose mother tragically died less than a year ago from a suspected gunshot wound under unclear circumstances.

The Girls’s father James Ndung’u, a figure known for his fervent political support and affiliation
to President Ruto, vanished from Kenya several months ago under circumstances that have
been widely described as “peculiarly funny” after loosing his property that included Bakeries and supermarket and other businesses. that were tourched down amid the Gen z doem chaos.

Since then, his trail has gone cold, with conflicting reports placing him either at the Uganda
border, where he was allegedly spotted. The daughter, visibly distraught in the video, might
have traveled to Uganda on a desperate hunch, following whispers that her father might be
hiding there. “Baba, please… just come for me,” she sobbed into the camera, her voice cracking
with emotion. “I’m so alone here. I don’t know where you are, but I need you to pick me up, to
save me from this misery.”

Her plea resonates against a backdrop of profound political upheaval in Kenya, particularly in
the Mt. Kenya region. The recent impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has
ignited a fierce anti-Ruto sentiment among the populace, fundamentally altering the political
calculus. What was once a stronghold for the ruling party has become a hotbed of disillusionment
and resentment.

Political analysts observe that the ground has shifted so dramatically that there is now virtually
no political space left for figures like “Dr. James” – a generic reference to any former staunch
UDA supporter – or their allies in Mt. Kenya. Loyalty to the current administration, once a badge
of honor, has become a liability, leaving many former associates isolated and vulnerable.

Dr. James daughter’s poignant video underscores the personal toll of these political machinations
and the often-unseen consequences of public life. While her father’s departure was shrouded in
comedic infamy, his absence has left his daughter in a state of profound loneliness and uncertainty, far from home, searching for a parent who may or may not be within reach. The question remains: will her desperate plea reach her father, wherever he may be, and will he dare to emerge from his self-imposed exile to answer her call?
