Former Kasarani Member of Parliament Mercy Gakuya is on the spot as allegations of her display of poor morals stand on the way of her attempts to make a political comeback.

Allegations of indecent behavior and excessive drunkenness have become the talk of the town following what residents of her former constituency frown over her alleged bad morals at a time she plans to make an attempt to recapture the seat she lost in 2022.

Grapevine has learnt that she is not only into drunken behavior but as well has allegation of indecency hanging over her head.

For a former member of Parliament who ought to conduct herself with the decency expected of a former state officer, allegations that she once got drunk at Maji Mazuri area and behaved in an indecent manner climb on top of her vehicle in a compromising position are damning revelations.

In the shameful scene, the ex MP was heard challenging several youths around to a sexual encounter with her while totally under the influence of alcohol.

As if Kasarani is jinxed, the current member of Parliament has also been on the received end with a majority of residents claiming that he is clueless about his constituency. It is said that the first time MP only vied for the mp position so as to secure his interest of his gambling business but not to represent the people of Kasarani.

In a recent development, the ongoing heavy rains recked havoc in various areas around the constituency yet the area has had Mercy Gakuya as former MP, and a high flying MP and a County government officer who had had done nothing to improve the the area even as they plan how to hold on to power without offering services to the electorate.

Yet another choice has always emerged as a controversial city lawyer who is a high ranking officer in the Nairobi City County administration and who people close to him allege he is corrupt indicating why he has had a record transfers at the County for Corruption.

The politician is alleged to have corrupted the transport sector in Nairobi until he was transfered to liquor department when bar owners ganged against him for alleged corruption prompting his yet another reshuffle.
Kasarani constituency residents have now resolved to start the hunt for a suitable leader who will work with residents to develop the vast constituency.
