Angry Kenyan social media users have lambasted Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino following a reckless post the MP posted on social media platform , Facebook while attending the funeral mass of the late Kariobangi North ward Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Hon Joel Munuve.

Users on Facebook thronged his page descending on him with a reminder of his infamous incident where he was accused of shooting a local disc jockey popularly known as DJ Evolve after the MP posted that the late Munuve was poisoned, contrary to the official government pathologists report which ruled out any possibility of foul play in the sudden death of the MCA.

Irate Kenyans have now told Babu to be mindful of the grieving family of the late MCA instead of using his unfortunate death to seek for political mileage insisting that Babu himself had condemned DJ. Evolve to a wheelchair while he struts the country freely instead of being in jail.

Social media users identified as Kakai Geoffrey told Babu to stop spreading falsehoods and get factual, this after the postmortem report done by independent and government pathologists at Lee Funeral Home ruled out foul play in the death.

According to pathologists, led by chief government pathologist Johansen Oduor, Munuve died from a pulmonary thromboembolism, a blood clot that formed in the deep veins of his left leg and travelled to his lungs, fatally blocking a major blood vessels.

“Be factual..the postmortem report is clear on what caused his death.Maturity is respecting other leaders… Infact Independent and government pathologists at Lee Funeral Home ruled out foul play in the death of Kariobangi Member of County Assembly (MCA) Joel Munuve, during a joint post-mortem examination. The pathologists conclusively determined that Munuve died from a pulmonary thromboembolism, a blood clot that formed in the deep veins of his left leg and travelled to his lungs, fatally blocking a major blood vessel,” Kakai wrote.

Another user Emmanuel Ting’s posed; Si pia wewe Kuna wakati umepiga DJ risasi?? (Didn’t you also shot at a DJ?)

Lagat Duncan took note that political leaders can silence opponents of their rivals and blame it on the rival

“Everything in this country is possible. Your opponents can kill your critics for political mileage. That’s why it’s even hard to trust you,” Lagat said.

Kentrician Silverstein was bare knuckle on the MP reminding him that he almost killed the Deejay and should be in jail

“Babu you’re not a good man,the fact that not proven Munuve was poisoned does not make you an exception, you’re a terrorist and a thug who has left dj evolved on a wheelchair for the rest of his life. You belong to prison, games of politics set you free,” He wrote in his comment.

Karis brown hilariously commented; “The tears of a coffin maker cannot be trusted at a funeral.” While another user named

Fred Odhiambo told off the MP noting that the unfortunate shooting of DJ Evolve eroded public trust from Babu who he accused of allegedly using hard substances that impair his judgment.

“Babu you have no moral authority to say this. First your drug addiction almost caused death of Dj Evolve when you shot him at point blank. You should not be anywhere near leadership. Shame on you,” Odhiambo wrote.

Yet another user by the name Omondi Sirkal said; “When you shot that DJ, you wanted to kill him not thinking of his children or family. You are an animal.”

Malcolm Malcolm said that Babu’s words were incite ful and he cannot substantiate.

“My brother with due respect, These are words that i cannot expect to come from your mouth,We condemn it…this is none other than incitement, never utter what you cannot substantiate.”

Following in the trend, Gerald Mukaka bluntly wrote, “You almost killed an innocent dj.”

Sebastian Opondo opined that Babu had gotten himself hooked to drugs and should therefore stay away from such inciting comments at a time when the family of Munuve are in mourning. “How do you explain to Kenyans that drugs did not lead you to shoot DJ Evolve?? Your drugs problem should not dupe you into thinking that you are suddenly very bright. Your post is just incitement.” Opondo said.

The late MCA will be laid to rest tomorrow after the funeral mass was held in Nairobi today.
