Political activist and government accountability advocate Morara Kebaso has acknowledged the funds he has received via M-Pesa for after he resumed his government accountability mission.
In his latest accountability report issued via his official X account on Saturday,February 1, 2025, Morara stated that he had received public contributions amounting to Ksh18,470, via his M-Pesa numbers just as he resumed his government accountability tours dubbed Vampire Diaries Tour.
He further revealed that he had toured 10 government projects since Tuesday, January 28, 2025, seven of which have been posted online, with three projects still undergoing deeper research before being released.
Morara went ahead to state that he had made his personal top up of Ksh27,198 to be able to tour the 10 projects, covering a total of 2,160 kilometers during the said tours.
Moreover, he has thanked his supporters for generously contributing towards his course.
“The Vampire Diaries Tour resumed on Tuesday this week. Our expenditure on fuel was Ksh. 45,668 We covered a total of 2,160 kilometres this week. We toured 10 projects. Seven projects have been posted online. Three projects are undergoing deeper research before release,” Morara stated.
“Public contributions received via Mpesa to 0722404397 and 0708985611 was Ksh. 18,470. My personal contribution was Ksh 27,198 + vehicle maintenance + etc We are grateful to those who have contributed generously to this movement and continue to do so. We will make sure that your sacrifice is worth every cent.”
