Nairobi, 10.03.2025…The Nairobi Hospital Board has today appointed Dr. Barcley Onyambu to replace former Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Chris Bichage as its new Chairman.
A seasoned obstetrician and gynecologist with extensive experience in healthcare governance, Dr. Onyambu has been a Board member since 2024 and has chaired key committees, including Human Resources, Infrastructure, and Audit & Risk.
He holds a Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has advanced training in healthcare management from Strathmore University. His appointment reflects the Board’s commitment to continuous improvement and upholding the highest standards in healthcare delivery.
The Board extends its gratitude to the immediate former Chairman, Hon. Dr. Chris M. N. Bichage, PhD, for his dedicated service and leadership over the past year and a half.
