Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi today made a scathing attack on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over what he termed as reckless utterances from the former second in command.
Speaking during an empowerment drive in his Kapseret constituency, Friday June 6, 2025, Sudi went bare knuckle saying that Gachagua has no development record to show in his Mount Kenya back yard during his two years as Deputy President and should not lecture other leaders as they move to empower their constituents.
Gachagua, during an opposition rally in Makueni county had said that the machinery that Sudi dished out to Kapseret residents, including Nissan Matatus, motorcycles, poshomills, chips cooking machines among other items for startup businesses were proceeds of corruption donated by President William Ruto.
In a sharp scathing attack, Sudi responded by telling off Gachagua noting that the Ksh. 45 million used to purchase the items was raised by the MP and his three other friends and that there was no single cent that came from tax payers money.
“I have networks of friends. You were in office for two years but your work is just to walk around speaking rubbish. You are walking with your wife insulting people yet you cannot point at one toilet block that you have constructed in Mount Kenya. You should keep quiet because you failed to work for the people and failed to make friends who can show you the way that is why you are bitter and can’t stop insulting people,” Sudi lashed out.
Calling Gachagua “Mr. Dorcas” Sudi reminded the former Deputy President that the empowerment drives will continue as he continues to spread politics of hate and division and that during such empowerment drives, the government allied politicians will dish out goodies because they have networks through which they can raise money to help improve lives of this at the grassroots.
Sudi said that soon Gachagua will be impeached again, this time by the people of Mount Kenya who he purports to represent.
