MLOLONGO, 6TH JANUARY 2025 – Superior Homes Foundation continues its impactful journey of empowering girls and supporting menstrual health across Kenya.

The Foundation elevated its commitment to this cause with a significant initiative at Liberty Care Centre, where a year’s supply of sanitary pads was donated.

This initiative reflects Superior Homes Foundation’s broader mission of providing continuous support to schoolgirls, ensuring they have access to menstrual hygiene products and mentorship opportunities. So far, the Foundation supports over 10,000 girls in 34 schools across Kenya. Additionally, the Foundation provides mentorship talks, that address critical topics such as education, personal and career development fostering a sense of empowerment and self-confidence among the young students.

Located in Mlolongo, Liberty Care Centre is a children’s home dedicated to providing care and support to underprivileged children. By donating a year’s supply of sanitary pads, the Foundation aims to address a critical challenge faced by the girls: the lack of proper access to essential menstrual hygiene products. This contribution is not just about meeting a basic need but also empowering the girls to focus on their education and personal growth without unnecessary interruptions.

“Every girl matters, providing access to menstrual hygiene products is a step towards equality and empowerment. Our partnership with Liberty Care Centre reflects on our ongoing efforts to empower girls and ensure they have the resources they need to thrive,” said Superior Homes Kenya Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator Faith Muthigani.

“This donation is part of a larger effort to address the challenges faced by many girls across Kenya. Our Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to reduce school absenteeism caused by a lack of these essential products, ” she added.
