Four Counties to Face Electricity Power Interruption on Sunday

Kenya Power has listed some areas across the country scheduled for power interruption on Sunday, March 9th, 2025.

The utility firm announced that parts of four counties will experience power interruption to allow system maintenance.

The power interruption will occur between 9am and 5pm in different areas.

Counties to be affected are Nairobi, Machakos, Kisumu and Tana River.

Nairobi

Parts of Nairobi will face power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

The areas are Babadogo Road, Impala, Kiwi Brand, Regal Pharmaceutical, Dawanol, Dogra, Premier Industries, Premier Food, Chandaria, Jubilee Tissue, Police Logisticts, Aztec, Razco, Pepsi, Lysons Maid and adjacent customers.

Machakos

Parts of Machakos are scheduled to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

The areas are Apex, Athi River Makadara, Mutongoni, Athi River Makadara, Ad Pack, KMC Factory, Star Sheikh, St. Paul’s and adjacent customers.

Kisumu 

Areas in Kisumu are scheduled to have power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Manyatta Sije, Manyatta Koyango, Sansora Hotel, Kilimani S/Centre, Lions High Sch, CITAM Church and adjacent customers.

Tana River 

Areas in Tana River will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

They include Hola Town, Masalani, Bura and adjacent customers.
