Kenya Power has announced that five counties are set to experience power interruptions on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024.
Nairobi, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Lamu and Tana River will be affected by power interruption.
Kenya Power said that the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.
Nairobi
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
They include Ruai Shopping Center, Ruai Police, Ruai DC, Githunguri, Block 10, Makongeni, Stage 26, Twin Bird, Kipawa, Made in the Streets, Kingoris, Kamulu, Reflector, Brook Shine, Ngondu, Athi Primary and adjacent customers.
Trans Nzoia
Areas to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Kipsingori Primary School, Kaplamai, Kapchepsir, Botwa, Karara and adjacent customers.
Bungoma
The areas will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
The areas include Site and Service East, Webuye Town, Webuye Law Courts, Webuye Sub County Hospital, Nabuyole Boosters, Webuye Police, National East, Pan Paper Guest Hss, Dinah Area, Satellite Hotel, Apollo Hotel, Swan Hotel, New Rays Hotel, Nabuyole Falls Lodge Hotel, Webuye Weighbridge, Webuye County Hosp, Pan Paper Guest Hses, Nyanges and adjacent customers.
Others are part of CBD, OLDREX, Beula District Hosp, Kenya Police and adjacent customers.
Lamu
Areas to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include the whole of Lamu Island, Mokowe, MOA Village, Nyongoro and adjacent customers.
Tana River
Areas to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Hola Town, Masalani Town, Bura Town and Charidende Market.
