Kenya Airways Elevates Pride Lounge Experience with Personalized Dining

Kenya Airways has unveiled a revamped dining experience at the Pride Lounge with a rotating buffet and live cooking station, offering passengers a personalized dining experience that caters to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.

The live cooking concept allows guests to personalize their meals and witness the culinary artistry firsthand. This dining concept caters to diverse guest palates from hearty vegetarian meals to specific religious dietary requirements. Additionally, the recently introduced Shawarma concept features delectable chicken wraps that have quickly become a favorite for many travelers.

In addition to the live cooking station, the lounge offers a daily rotating buffet displaying a diverse selection of local and international cuisines. Each day, a new menu is unveiled, featuring five distinct meal options, including vegetarian choices. Guests can also request special dishes ahead of their trip, ensuring a truly personalized dining experience.

Beyond offering diverse dining options, the lounge prioritizes creating a relaxing atmosphere for travellers while they await their flights. The interior design draws inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of Kenya, featuring a captivating mural of the Kakamega rainforest in Western Kenya that welcomes guests at the entrance.

Located at Terminal 1A the spacious lounge, accommodates up to 250 guests, offering a serene retreat with comfortable seating areas, a tranquil quiet zone for relaxation, a napping area and other essential amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi and refreshing shower rooms. A unique highlight is the iconic “Mvule” bench within the exclusive smoking room, making it the sole smoking lounge in Terminal 1A.

Kenya Airways Business Class passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members can indulge in this pre-flight luxury, with complimentary access extended to themselves and a guest. Economy class travellers on Kenya Airways, SkyTeam, and partner airlines may also savour the lounge’s opulent ambience for a fee, enjoying a serene escape before their flight.
