Long serving managing partner at the top brand legal firm TripleOKLaw LLP Senior Counsel John Ohaga has stepped up into a new role of Senior partner as the law firm announced a significant change in leadership.
Ohaga, who is also the chairman of the Kenyan taskforce on the review of Sports Policy and former Chairman of the Kenyan Sports Disputes Tribunal, exits the management role at TripleOKLaw LLP after an incredible journey of dedication and leadership since 2002,  where the senior counsel Ohaga, SC, C.Arb, FCIArb has led the law firm to grow into a globally recognized brand.
In statement released by the law firm, Monday February 3, 2025, TripleOK Law LLP announced that Senior Counsel Ohaga has stepped down from the role of Managing Partner to transition into a Senior Partner position. In this new role, John M. Ohaga, SC, C.Arb, FCIArb will focus on mentorship, leadership, and continuing to serve clients with passion and commitment that has defined his tenure.
Marysheila Onyango-Oduor, FCIArb has taken to the helm from Ohaga as the new Managing Partner. Marysheila, who has risen through the ranks starting as a pupil steps into the  new chapter offering years of experience and deep knowledge of work and culture.
Marysheila Onyango-Oduor, FCIArb is poised to lead the firm into the future, building on a legacy of excellence, innovation, and growth. Marysheila is deeply committed to fostering a positive internal environment, recognizing its critical role in the quality of the firm’s work.
