Ruai Member County Assembly (MCA) James Mwangi commonly known as Karis has today, Friday June 6 joined Muslim faithfuls fromRuai Ward in celebrating Eid-Ul-Adha.
MCA Karis visited the muslim community living in RUAI ward at Ruai mosque to celebrate Islam Eid al-Adha, the second of the two main festivals in Islam alongside.
The area MCA, who has stood out as a vocal representative of the people in the vast Ruai ward shared an assortment of foodstuffs with the community as they celebrate the important day in the muslim faith globally.
“Earlier today, i joined our muslim community living in RUAI ward at Ruai mosque to celebrate EID AL~ADHA. I shared the little I had with the community, May the divine blessings of Allah bring you hope, faith, and joy on Eid and forever,” Hon. Karis said.
Hon. Karis conveyed warm Eid al-Adha wishes to Muslims in Ruai and Nairobi recognizing the spiritual significance of the occasion following the recently concluded Hajj pilgrimage.
Eid-Ul-Adha falls on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijja, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic calendar.
Karis have established himself as a formidable representative and defender of the people of Ruai, often articulating issues affecting the area residents in the Nairobi City County Assembly as well as initiating development projects in Ruai.
