President William Ruto has no problem with the people of the Mount Kenya region. According to the chairman of the President William Ruto two terms support base chairman in Nairobi Edwin Kuria, the President should be given the opportunity to work for the people of Kenya without undue tribal bias.

Speaking in Nairobi, Kuria, who is the self styled Ruto Kumi Bila Break chairman in Nairobi said that the tribal narrative being orchestrated by impeached former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua should not be seen as a position of the people from the Mount Kenya region and Ruto must be allowed time to go on with the development agenda of Kenya without bias.

Kuria noted that the problems between the President and his former Deputy is personal and must not be seen as a problem between the Kikuyu community and the head of state who he insisted that is the Head of state and therefore the leader of the people of the region.

During the 2022 general election, which President Ruto won, Mount Kenya region contributed over 47 percent of the President’s vote basket and therefore he must be given time to deliver his promises to the country without a tribal bias.

“We condemn the tribal division being done by the former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua. The People of Mount Kenya have no problems with President William Ruto and therefore Wamunyoro (Gachagua) should not try to speak tribal hate between Ruto and the people of the region. We are solidly behind Ruto and we are saying that us is Two terms for Ruto without fear,” Kuria said.

“We want to the President to be given time to work on the coffee and tea sectors which are the backbone of Mount Kenyas economy not just cheap politics and I want to say without fear that the war is not between mout Kenya and Ruto. It is personal and should not be sewn as a war between the President and the people of the region. We need development not political theatrics,” Kuria added.

While emphasizing that the Mount Kenya region is firmly behind Rutos ten year presidency, Kuria said that “Kumi Bila Break ” is unstoppable and he will lead the the campaign in Nairobi without fear.

“We are the soldiers of President William Ruto on the ground to ensure that we have fertiliser. We have good prices for our coffee, tea and milk and that tribalism is not imposed on umthe community by one person who was removed from office for his own incompetence, ” Kuria asserted.

Kuria is a business and political leader in Nairobi who is known for his firm support for a conducive business environment as well as politics of unity as opposed to the division that has been seen to be propagated by Gachagua.

Edwin is a business and political opinion leader from Makadara Constituency in Nairobi County.

And even though he does not support tribal politics, it is agreeable that Ruto has no issue with the Mt Kenya people but has a difference with his former deputy which is not with the Mt Kenya community.
