The energy around Bien-Aimé’s Alusa Continua tour is at an all-time high as the celebrated Kenyan artist wrapped up an electrifying performance in Meru over the weekend.
This marks the second stop in a three-city circuit that began with a sold-out show in Eldoret and will culminate in a highly anticipated finale in Nairobi on Saturday, September 20.
From Eldoret to Meru, fans have been treated to unforgettable nights of music, with Bien delivering a powerful mix of chart-topping hits and reimagined classics. The tour has underscored his ability to connect with audiences across the country, cementing his place as one of Kenya’s most captivating performers.
In Meru, the momentum carried forward from Eldoret, where fans packed Baniyas Square Lounge for the opening show. Each stop has brought not only Bien’s artistry to the fore but also a celebration of Kenya’s rich entertainment culture, with music, food, and vibrant experiences taking center stage – made possible through the support of partners including Johnnie Walker Blonde.
The Meru leg also featured standout performances from Njerae, Gudah Man, Jaysoul, and a surprise set by Bensoul, adding to the night’s unforgettable energy.
Speaking on the ongoing tour, Josephine Katambo, Marketing Manager, Scotch & Reserve Portfolio at EABL, said:
“Through Johnnie Walker, and especially with the fresh Blonde variant, we are proud to be part of Bien’s journey in bringing world-class live music to fans across Kenya. This partnership is about more than sponsorship – it is about celebrating Kenyan talent, creativity, and the power of music to bring people together. Supporting Bien on this tour allows us to connect with audiences in meaningful ways, and we cannot wait to see the Nairobi show build on the incredible energy we have witnessed in Eldoret and Meru.”
The Nairobi stop promises to be the tour’s biggest highlight, bringing fans together for a night that will showcase Bien’s artistry at its finest and close out Alusa Continua on a resounding high.
Johnnie Walker Blonde, introduced to Kenya just last month, is the newest expression from the world’s number one Scotch whisky brand. Bright, vibrant, and crafted for mixing, Blonde is designed to be accessible and versatile – reflecting the same youthful, playful energy that has defined Bien’s tour. Its recent launch has added a fresh dimension to Kenya’s nightlife and entertainment scene, making it a fitting companion for a tour rooted in creativity and shared experiences.
Chiki Kuruka, Bien’s Manager, added: “The love we have seen in Eldoret and Meru has been overwhelming, and it is a testament to how much live music means to fans across the country. We’re grateful to all our partners, especially Johnnie Walker Blonde, for making this possible. Nairobi, we are saving the best for last – expect something truly special.”
