The German Ambassador to Kenya Sebastian Groth held a meeting with the opposition Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka  on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

During the meeting at the SKM Command Centre in Nairobi, the two discussed and shared their perspectives on bilateral relations to bolster economic ties.

The two also discussed the country’s political situation.

“It was a pleasure hosting @GermanyinKenya Ambassador HE Sebastian Groth at the SKM Command Centre this afternoon. We discussed and shared our perspectives on bilateral relations as well as the current political situation in Kenya. I look forward to our continued engagement,” Kalonzo who is the opposition Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance principal shared on his social media pages.

The meeting comes a day after the ambassador and German parliament member Dr. Christoph Hoffmann met Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Julius Migos Ogamba to discuss ways to strengthen existing partnerships in education and employment.
