Police face AFC Leopards in FKF Premier League mid week action

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) premier league mid week action takes center stage tomorrow, Wednesday 15, May with nine matches all lined up as the league gets to 30th round.

Second placed Kenya Police will have a litmus test as they face AFC Leopards at Leopards new found home of the new Dandora Stadium in Nairobi.
Leopards will be buoyed by their three match winning streak at Dandora following their weekend 3-0 thumping on FC Talanta as Police seek to maintain their grip on second spot.

Police are two points ahead of Tusker FC who face fifth placed Nairobi City Stars at Police Sacco Stadium.

Run away league leaders and 20 times champions Gor Mahia will play away to Kenya Commercial Bank at the Sportpesa Arena in Muranga on Thursday.

In other matches set to be played on Wednesday, Shabana will host FC Talanta at the Raila Odinga Stadium asBidfo United play Military side Ulinzi Stars in the first kick off of the televised Dandora Stadium double header action. Both matches at Dandora Stadium pitting Bidco against Ulinzi stars and that between AFC Leopards and Kenya Police will be televised live on AZAM TV.

At Muhoroni Stadium, Muhoroni Youth will host Bandari FC as Murang’a Seal entertain Kariobangi Sharks at their Sportpesa Arena backyard in Murang’a.

Kakamega Homeboyz will play Nzoia Sugar at the Mumias Sports Complex as Sofapaka play Posta Rangers at the Machakos Stadium.

Makadara MP Aspirant Edwin Kuria launches Nairobi Mega Pool tournament Makadara Constituency incoming Member of Parliament Edwin Kuria has today, Saturday 9 May, 2026, launched Nairobi’s mega Pool Table Tournament, slated for May 24th, 2026 with a promise to deliver an ecentric pool table tournament where a lucky, talented youth will win a brand new Motor Cycle. Speaking today in Viwandani Ward of Makadara Sub County, Kuria activated the youth to brace themselves for an electrifying competition in the tournament meant to empower the youth. Kuria noted that the ground has changed, and so have the people, making a shift upon which, today’s generation is no longer waiting on promises but they are stepping forward to claim opportunity through action, talent, and unity. “Leadership today must create platforms that empower, engage, and uplift the community in real and visible ways,” Kuria said. The tournament will be held at STAR OF HOPE, starting from 10:00 AM, bringing together players and fans for a day of skill, connection, and opportunity. Participants will compete for exciting rewards, with the GRAND PRIZE BEING A MOTORBIKE, alongside other cash prizes of KSH 40,000, KSH 20,000, and KSH 10,000. This mega tournament will be played across five zones where the winner in every zone will pocket Ksh. 5000 and a chance to move into the next stage for an opportunity to win a Motor Cycle. The runners up in every zone will walk away with a Ksh. 3000 while number three wins Ksh. 2000. In that spirit, Kuria has taken it upon himself to bring the community together through the VIWANDANI POOL TOURNAMENT, set for 24TH MAY 2026. Kiria intones that this is not just competition, it is a statement of inclusion, youth empowerment, and practical engagement at the grassroots level. Kuria encouraged all interested participants to register with thekir local cordinators and be part of this transformative experience. “This is what meaningful leadership looks like—creating real opportunities where talent is recognized and rewarded. It is about moving beyond words and ensuring that progress can be seen and felt within the community,” Kuria said. Kuria, who is running for the position of Makadara Membernof Parliament has been active in empowering the residents of Makadara constituency using sports as a way of empowerment.
