There was drama in Nakuru on April 17, after a furious husband, Dancan Mwangi, stormed into a luxury hotel in Nakuru city and found his wife, Emmaculate Mueni, in a compromising situation with Nakuru Water and Sanitation Services Company Limited (NAWASSCO) Managing Director, James Ng’ang’a, while half naked.
According to sources close to the family, Mwangi had grown increasingly suspicious after noticing strange but constant call logs between his wife and Ng’ang’a. The calls, coupled with a series of rapid promotions Mueni had received at work, raised red flags for the husband.
Mwangi took the company of police officers and reportedly tracked his wife to the upscale hotel in Nakuru. What followed was a dramatic scene as he burst into the room and caught the two in what witnesses described as a clearly intimate moment.
Mueni, partially undressed, tried to downplay the situation, insisting it was a business meeting that “got too comfortable.” Meanwhile, Ng’ang’a allegedly tried to flee through a back exit, only to be blocked by the enraged husband demanding answers.
The police intervened and escorted both Ng’ang’a and Mueni to the Free Area Police Post, where they spent the night in custody before being released the following morning. No formal charges have been filed yet, but the matter continues to attract public attention.
Insiders at NAWASSCO allege that this is not the first scandal involving the embattled MD. Staff members claim Ng’ang’a has developed a reputation for preying on female employees, using his position to pursue inappropriate relationships.
In a separate incident, Ng’ang’a is accused of fathering a child with another senior staff member who heads a department within the company. The woman, a married mother of two, allegedly bore her third child with the MD.
In a disturbing twist, her husband—also an employee at NAWASSCO—was reportedly demoted from his position as a company driver to a meter reader after confronting the situation, raising serious concerns about abuse of power and workplace retaliation.
