This past Saturday, the world’s no.1 International gin brand, Gordon’s made its much-anticipated return to Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers with the ‘Par-Tea’ experience. In partnership with the hotel, the event offered a perfect fusion of gin sophistication, tea culture and elevated lifestyle moments.
Guests were treated to a refreshing twist on afternoon tea complete with tea-infused Gordon’s cocktails, exquisite sweet and savoury treats, and a soundtrack of curated DJ set.
Now in its second edition, the Gordon’s High Tea attracted a stylish crowd dressed in soft shades of winter glamour, soaking in the elegant setup and vibrant atmosphere. The event not only celebrated gin in a new light but also brought together Nairobi’s tastemakers, creatives, and lifestyle lovers for a day of indulgence, connection, and celebration.
“The High Tea experience is our way of showing the versatility of Gordon’s, it’s not just a gin, it’s a lifestyle. From tea pairings to mixology and ambience, we wanted to offer something light, playful, and premium. The turnout and energy were incredible, and it’s clear there’s a growing appetite for these kinds of sophisticated daytime socials,” said Wangeci Gakenia, Brand Manager, Gordon’s, EABL.
Guests arrived in pairs, each entry ticket inclusive of a bottle of Gordon’s gin, a standout detail that reinforced the brand’s commitment to meaningful consumer experiences. An engaging karaoke session led by Anto Neosoul and the Revolution Band kept the energy high, while the picturesque poolside at Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers transformed into a twilight lounge as the evening progressed.
Pooja Patel, General Manager, Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers, added, “We are proud to collaborate with Gordon’s once again for this signature event. As a hotel, our vision is to curate memorable experiences that blend hospitality with culture, and this event does just that. It’s more than an afternoon of cocktails it’s a showcase of community, flavour and style. Something, we as Holiday Inn share as common values.”
The Gordon’s High Tea series continues to redefine how gin is enjoyed in Kenya infusing tradition with bold, contemporary twists, all while creating a social space that’s elegant yet accessible.
